Hi to all,

I have this transmission stick shifter that when I pull it to the 1-2 position, often easily jumps over to face the reverse position.  I guess, there is something that supposed  to stop it there but it’s not resisting enough and lets it to go to the left too much where reverse is.  
Question; can this be fixed without taking the tranny apart or it’s and ‘inside job’.  And what would it be called if I want to find it in the book.
