I don't have a Bentley in the house, but which year Vanagon?

On my '81 Westfalia, I repurposed the red larger gauge wire that ran
FROM the panel TO the driver side aux battery box and back to kitchen
appliances, to run FROM the aux. battery + post TO the backside of a
fuse at the panel so it would power dome lights, cig. lighter, in dash
stereo.
