There are options, functional and permanent but not pretty unless you
upholster them:

The problem with the slider panel is that it gets wet in the rain and the
cardboard dissolves.

I particularly like the removable fastener system.

Hey guys. It's time for me to freshen up the red sunroof syncro somewhat and
the first thing I need is a sliding door interior panel in the tan delux
trim, for an 87 vanagon gl.
I only have half of one on there and it's terrible. Does anyone have one of
these they could sell? I understand shipping would be pricy, but I'm out of
options.
I would be interested in front door panels as well If you have them but my
need is less extreme.
