Rust works. I saw an early VW bus put up on a rack in Anchorage, AK once. When the hoist lifted - the front and the back of the van visibly sagged!! The shop then refused to work on it. The owner refused to come and get it out of disgust. Nobody else wanted it. The shop had it removed to the Junkyard. It was scrapped, crushed, an shipped to Japan or somewhere.
