I experienced similar problems. Then someone pointed out that a unit with a remote is always looking and waiting for a command. So removing the face is needed to minimize draw. Here are the draws I measured. "off" is about half of "on" but "no face plate" is about 1/15th of "off": http://jones.colorado.edu/VW/Panasonic.txt Richard On 7/1/2014 10:00 PM, Automatic digest processor wrote: > Date: Tue, 1 Jul 2014 19:24:54 -0700 > From: Alistair Bell<albell@SHAW.CA> > Subject: Re: Electrical draw question > > Hi, > > I have my radio wired to the aux battery so I don't have to worry about draw= > on the starting battery.
