Hi all. Found this while looking for something else. youtube link to video showing my WBX 2.1 AFM, engine running: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH9_XjjzjSw&feature=youtu.be Video quality is not great, but at beginning, and more so at end, you can see how the wiper arm is not steady. Nor is the idle. I'm sure it's been mentioned or speculated on before, but maybe a poor idle can cause undue wear and tear on the AFM resistive strip? My understanding is that if the idle is good, the AFM wiper should be steady. If it is a possible issue, my guess is it would take many miles of poor idle to cause a problem but that's just a WAG. The idle on my 2.1 WBX has been improved, but at time of making the video, it wasn't as good. You can sort of hear this in the video.
