Does anyone have the specific changes VW made in the spare tire clam
shell and wires to accommodate the wider 205 tires?  I would imagine the
modifications allows for 20 mm increased space but I wonder if there is
anything else.

Has anyone fabricated an extended hinge adapter to allow using the
standard clam shell?

Also, does anyone have 2 extra securing clips (251 801 921) for the clam
shell hinge?  Pmail me with your mailing address and I'll send you a
self addressed stamped envelope and couple of bucks if you'll send them
to me.
