Yes, it had severe warps in the sides, perhaps pulled from the mold before
it was cured enough. The refunded 1/2 the cost and that made it seem less a
problem, and I have an old Syncro here that I attached the top to and sold
the van for about 2500 IIRC. Oh, for the days of Syncros you had to almost
give away...
