Hi Mike. I broke the same window on the opposite side last year. Mine is also an 85. It broke when my wife shut the door. Second time that's happened and I had a heck of a time finding a replacement. Nothing here in Winnipeg of course. I happened to be in Ottawa one weekend and for the heck of it searched Kijiji in Montreal which of course is a hotbed of westfalias. Found one and managed to buy it online despite my lousy French. 2 hours and a rented car later and I had the part. Brought it home on the airplane. Relevant part: Ben Tan was in the process of hooking me up with a glass guy but it never came to that. Maybe he can help. Also I couldn't find anywhere a list of what glass was used when/where. If I recall the part you're looking for was different than the part I was looking for. Different years makes a difference too ( I am assuming 80-85 and 86+?). That info would be helpful. Seems like someone could make some money reproducing glass :) Alistair? Felder Industries?
