This is an opportunity to replace the hard seating foam with softer foam! The '85 and later rear seats have formed depressions for the passengers which I find uncomfortable for sleeping, even with a topper. I much preferred my previous '84 with the flat foam seats like yours has. You'll need to recover the new foam, but the seat bottom and back are just stapled and you can do that yourself (same as you would with used cushions). The back cushion should not be too expensive to have professionally covered. List vendors have fabric, or just go to an upholstery shop and compare the price for them doing the whole job with new foam of your choice or just the rear cushion and selling you the extra fabric. Make it even cheaper by removing the seat and taking the seat back and bottom into their shop. It's easy to remove. A good night's sleep is worth it! I have an 81 west with worn out cushions and covers. Looks like I could just find something in better condition and just replace them easily. Anyone have any experience swapping them with different year cushions from later westys? Anyone have any? Sent from my iPhone=
