I am glad the Hyena waited until after our 5800km trip home to start having this string of little things.   

The latest is no reverse lights.  Fuse is good.   Light bulbs work.  So, once it stops raining I'll crawl underneath and have a look at the switch on the tranny - I'm hoping it's just a contact/connexion issue.
