Yeah, that's the thing. Now I'm not recommending this way of insulation, I haven't road tested it enough. But it sure does install easily, you can push the foam up into the walls and it holds firm. No gluing so you can whip them out for any body work etc. Alistair > On Sep 12, 2014, at 11:39 AM, Neil N <musomuso@gmail.com> wrote: > > Thanks for posting that Alistair. > > So "pool noodles" are also known as "water noodle" ? i.e. > > http://tinyurl.com/qzjkqb2 > > Seems like it might be cost effective as you suggest. > > > >> On 9/11/14, Alistair Bell <albell@shaw.ca> wrote: >> >> http://shufti.wordpress.com/2014/09/11/vanagon-body-insulation-idea/ > > > > -- > Neil n > > Blog: tubaneil.blogspot.ca > > '88 Westy http://tinyurl.com/c8rlw6p > > '81 VanaJetta 2.0 "Jaco" http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/ > > Vanagon VAG *Gas* inline-VR Engine Swap Group: > > http://tinyurl.com/d7gd5ej
