A couple of months ago I posted about using mineral oil on the chalky brown plastic and on my dash. After that time... Dash ok, but not shiny like it was when freshly oiled. Mind you the dash collects a lot of road dust during the summer. I'd give it a 7/10 where 5 is neutral, 10 is amazing, 1 is bad. The door handles and parking brake plastic, very good, a solid 9/10. It doesn't score perfect as there is a slight feel to the handles. Not tacky or sticky, but not without a slight feel of residue. I didn't buff the handles out with a dry cloth. But it really reduced the amount of chalky-ness. I applied the oil liberally and let it soak in for a half opportunity or so, then I wiped the plastic down with a rag. Even if I had to re apply a couple of times a year, or wipe down with an oily cloth, I still think it's worth it.
