Subject:Timing - 1991 Carat, 2.1 L wbx, auto-tranny

I need someone to explain the setup for timing the engine. Two different
mwchanic have tried and gotten it wrong. The engine did run now it won't do
more than idle well at 800 rpm. Step on the gas to go and it just quits.

Any help appreciated.
