Welding is best but maybe an epoxy like JB weld? -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Don Hanson Sent: Sunday, November 09, 2014 11:34 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Upper control arm bushings, replacement question 84 vanagon. Is there an alternative to spot welding the bushing shell to keep it from spinning? Maybe drill and tap in a short small machine screw or something? I've watched some videos (thank you Ken Wilford) and they show the bushings are captured in the arm by a small tack weld....but I have no welder.
