I asked the folks who make the ABS panels if they would cut them from
plywood paneling.  They declined.

I've been thinking for a while that someone should offer a wood panel kit
for Vanagons, complete with wood visors.

If nothing else, at least one would have onboard kindling should things go
horribly wrong...
