There has been quite a bit of discussion about where and how to wire in a CO detector. One alternative is to get one that doesnt need to be wired at all. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Kidde-Worry-Free-10-Year-Kitchen-Sealed-Lithium- Battery-Operated-Combination-Smoke-and-Carbon-Monoxide-Alarm-21009667/20352 5030 It is about $50. The CO detector typically doesnt last forever, anyway, so by the time this battery dies you probably should get a new detector anyway. And, ten years from now, if you are still driving your 1980s Westy you probably *deserve* to throw yourself a party and buy a new detector. It will be the year 2025, so all the other cars will by flying by then, right? I realize, however, that some of the discussion has been about combined propane and CO detectors, and these dont do that part. Anyway, for what it is worth r On 2015-01-27, 8:36 PM, "Dennis Haynes" <d23haynes57@HOTMAIL.COM> wrote: >These detectors are not instant on devices.
