Be aware that often your 12v aux battery may struggle to keep your laptop
charged thru any charger. I have a duplicate NAPA starter-sized batteries
in my vanagon. Through 2 laptops, 2 new coach batteries, 2 or 3
different12v chargers and a couple of inverters, I have have always had
issues, usually the 12v chargers get too hot if the use is extended or your
device's battery is low when you plug in and turn it on. The 12v chargers
I've used all overheat and shut down quite often, usually at some
inopportune time....if you use them for extensive sessions...

This is not a big problem now, with a decent smart phone that has now
taken over most of my laptop stuff.
