thanks for this post, Jim. I'd wondered why Jim's responses fell off. his input has helped keep my Van running for the better. when I placed my first order with AirHead, I asked about business cards to mount on the side glass to spread the word and help grow the brand. IDK if he personally put  2 logo stickers in the box nor if it was he who sent the calendar without an order later that year. clearly, he is a generous man in thought and action. I recognised a few donor names from here and feel good about associating with decent folk. I'm a bit embarrassed for the delay but, I hope I can kick in again to support a supporter. any body else wanna feel good on All Hearts Day ?

I don’t do fund raising pleas worth a s*%#, but seriously folks, Jim deserves all the help we can muster. If you don’t know or know of Jim, just visit the page that he’s maintained for more that a decade with information that would take you days to locate otherwise. <http://www.oldvolkshome.com> Take a look at the inventory of Air Head Parts. <http://airheadparts.com> Jim has been a major force behind getting many of these NLA parts reproduced.

Jim has been a list member since the vanagon@lenti days (the Ur bus list.) I just searched the vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com archives. His name first surfaces in one of Unca Joel’s stats reports.  Date? June 27, 1995. This was back in the days when the dealer & Bus Boys were about the only choices for parts. His contributions to our chosen hobby/way of life are immeasureable and he’s been doing it for a long time.

Please, dig deep and help a brother in need.
