In preparation for my Subaru conversion, I need to upgrade the transmission, which means a better cooler, among other things. Coolers range from the expensive FAS/Van Caf heat sink ($300, approved by German Transaxle), http://www.van-cafe.com/home/van/page_1717_1011/automatic-transmission-coole r.html to the equally expensive Go Westy thermostatically controlled finned tube external cooler ($300), http://www.gowesty.com/ec_view_details.php?id=4481 <http://www.gowesty.com/ec_view_details.php?id=4481&category_id=&category_pa rent_id> &category_id=&category_parent_id= to a relatively cheap aftermarket finned tube cooler with no thermostat control for $169 from Small Car. http://www.smallcar.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view <http://www.smallcar.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=29877> &product_id=29877 Anyone have experience with or thoughts about these options? Thanks, Stuart
