hi all,

'88 tin top vanagon. I turn the A/C temp knob and the fan knobs to ON.. -
no power to compressor... swap the temp control knob from a van w. working
A/C - still no power to compressor... all the fuses at the driver's side
pillar are good... all the wiring are in good condition

- is there any other fuse(s) I should check? and where are they?

- could it be the freon is so LOW that it doesn't activate some other
switch?
