So I am a guy who has taken his entire inspiration regarding autos from his grandfather. In my case that means I am into most things German and rear engined of the Porsche or Volkswagen variety. My grandfather drove a pcar as a daily driver and so do I. He is 93 now and his 87 Westy has been sitting in his driveway in Palo Alto for maybe 3 years without regular use. I told him years ago I wanted it. Yes he actually can still drive...he just passed his driving test last year, but he called me last month to tell me it was mine. This was his 5th Camper/bus, but he had it later in life so it only has 56k on the odometer. I live in Arlington Va. So its in the shop now and I will drive it across country to Arlington in April. I am thrilled but feeling like I am cramming for an exam prepping for what I need to know for this trip! For that reason I have really enjoyed this list.
