GW builds their engines in-house. Been there... seen it. The machine work, however, is subbed out. I do know they've used several engine builders. I don't know gex to be one of them. Their engines are quite a bit more then just "bored out", but in my opinion, still have plenty of quality control issues, product development issues, and a terrible warranty program that is well documented. I love many of their things, Their higher displacement engines are not one of them. Id run a 2.2 or 2.3 of theirs though. -craig > On Mar 21, 2015, at 10:58 AM, Dave Mcneely <mcneely4@COX.NET> wrote: > > GoWesty advertises as if they do their own in house work. The GoWesty rebuilds are bored out to larger displacements. The engines I saw advertised by GEX have the same displacement as the original, at least for the 2.1 engines. If GEX rebuilds for GoWesty, wow, GoWesty's profit margin is even greater than I imagined. > > mcneely > > ---- Mike Riley <mkriley@FUSE.NET> wrote: >> I think gex makes gowesty rebuilds. >> Mike > > -- > David McNeely
