MIguel, if it makes a difference I am positive that I installed a set
of Steve Schwenck's springs on my '84 Westy without a
compressor.  The fronts were a little tight, but nothing drastic.  No
stupid lashups needed; I might have had to pry a bit with a
screwdriver to get it over the hump but I'm not sure even of that.
