Hi Yes I have done this. I rebuilt a motor that I thought had no compression when it would run for about 15 min the compression would drop off to zero in 2 cylinders. Basically the lifters were over charging and floating the valves so no compression. let it sit for a day or so and it would fire on all 4 for about 15 min again. Motor had other issues but that one drove me crazy. After the rebuild it did it again so I set the valves at zero and had compression issues never again. Hope that helps Jonce >Hello to the List, > >I had to set my valves with zero turn onto the lifters, because they >kept on coming back with no compression until. >So, the normal one or two full turn would not work this time. >What would be the reason? >Anyone? > >Zoltan > > >----- >No virus found in this message. >Checked by AVG - www.avg.com >Version: 2015.0.5863 / Virus Database: 4321/9457 - Release Date: 04/04/15
