I think Neil misunderstands the problem.

To demonstrate the problem I did a search for messages containing
"Dennis" from January 2015 to April 2015.  I got 60 hits, all from
15/04/06 to 15/04/30.  What happened to the messages from January 1,
2015 through April 5, 2015.  I know Dennis Haynes wrote some messages
during this period.

How about a response from one of the moderators?
