Subject:Fuel vs Ignition - WBX 2.1 L

Engine cold or cool, struggles to start. Continue cranking, two cylinder
online, then three, then all four. It coughs, sputters as if clearing ones
throat. Rev the engine just a bit one time, then all is fine. But on any
stop, even though the engine idles smoothly, upon acceleration, I have to
lead the clutch with a little bit of throttle to rev the engine or it bogs
as if a cylinder has dropped out, but with that tiny goose of the throttle,
the cylinder catches and away it goes like there is no tomorrow.

I have not been able to pin this down. Is it a bad injector or bad plug?

Suggestions? Swapping out parts is a poor way to go about fixing a problem
but it may come to that!

Thanks,

John
