I can contribute that http://www.germanmotorsmesa.com/ has serviced my 1984
Vanagon GL Westphalia for a couple of years, and it has never run better.
My Vanagon is totally stock, with some plastic cooling parts replaced with
non-stock brass. But my education on the list has been key to keeping the
Twinkie on the road. It is still my daily driver.
