So my beloved backyard poplar drops the most obnoxious seeds. Green goo that gets in the kids hair.  What's the best way to remove? The guy at the car wash said to use methyl hydrate (lock de-icer??) but that it removes the finish. Which you then replace. Sounds dangerous. Any better suggestions?
