you can not compare the AC on a westy and the AC on any sedan out there.
The volume of air to cool on a westy/tin top is far larger then any sedan.

but you could help to improve the AC efficiency by cleaning the condenser
(front of radiator) and the evaporator.... and may be replacing the
compressor with a better one.
