There was always doubt in my mind over the material composition of the crush washer.
Early on, when I bought them from the dealer, they were made of copper.  Later I was offered aluminum, but they always had copper if I requested it.
Does anyone know which is correct?  Does it matter?

I have never had a problem with needing to use a used crush washer in a
pinch, (ha!) and it isn't as if you're going to be facing a gusher or
anything.

If you need it now try FLAPS.
