I love my RA08s. Put a set on 2 yrs ago and they do great. They aren't the best off road, but I would rather have a smooth, quiet drive on highway (what these vans where made for) than tearing it up offroad. I have a DRZ400 for that :) Ryan Asheville, NC On Wed, Jun 24, 2015 at 2:59 PM Neil N <musomuso@gmail.com> wrote: > you're welcome and thanks for that tip Dan. > > I'd also stumbled upon motorcycle web pages discussing > bead seating re: car VS motorcycle tires on motorcycle rims. > A lengthy diatribe here on a Goldwing forum: > > > http://www.goldwingfacts.com/forums/10-reference-faq-forum/400426-design-differences-between-car-motorcycle-rim-tire.html > > Neil. > > On 6/24/15, Dan N <dn92610@gmail.com> wrote: > > > General Tires make good all terrain tires similar to BFG thread design... > > > > > -- > Neil n > > Blog: Vanagons, Westfalia, general <http://tubaneil.blogspot.ca> > > 1988 Westy Images <https://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/New1988Westy> > > 1981 Westfalia "Jaco" Images, technical <http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/> > > Vanagon-Bus VAG Gas Engine Swap Group <http://tinyurl.com/khalbay> >
