Hello,

Does that ring a bell with anyone?  Sudden onset while van parked for
a few weeks.  No unusual noises noted, distinct increase of effort at
each steering wheel spoke.  Enough to interfere with the wheels
returning to center after a turn.  U-joint does not appear grossly
abnormal.  Left lower arm inner rubber bushing has lost a shoulder,
but tire wear suggests it didn't just leap off while the van was parked.

I've tried wishing it would not be so, but that hasn't succeeded.
