When I'm asked about the struts, this is the #1 reason I give.  Not
lifting, but taking the weight off my head when lowering!

I'm with Loren--JB is the way to go.  I bought one of the very
first kits he offered.  Soon, he had some reports about bending
of the bracket under the rear hinge.  Although he could not
reproduce it, he made a beefier bracket and sent it out to
all who had previously ordered.  You can't beat that.
