The CE marking means if conforms to certain European standards. RoHS means it has levels less than the maximum allowed of 6 hazardous material that are called out in the European Directive. Although it's good to have these approvals, both of these standards have no relationship on functionality of the product for North America. -Dick- (works for an EMS company in the USA) On Wed, Jul 1, 2015 at 2:10 PM, Neil N <musomuso@gmail.com> wrote: > That eBay ad shows these CE, RoHS Certifications: > > images: http://hi-lemon.com/zen/cache/Ebay/car-elec2010/top/CE_1000.jpg > http://hi-lemon.com/zen/cache/Ebay/car-elec2010/top/ROHS_1000.jpg > > does this mean they'd comply with North American standards? > > Neil. > > On 6/30/15, Jack Reynaert <jack007@comcast.net> wrote: > > > ... these H4's ... > > http://tinyurl.com/os4pv77 > > > -- > Neil n > > Blog: Vanagons, Westfalia, general <http://tubaneil.blogspot.ca> > > 1988 Westy Images <https://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/New1988Westy> > > 1981 Westfalia "Jaco" Images, technical <http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/> > > Vanagon-Bus VAG Gas Engine Swap Group <http://tinyurl.com/khalbay> >
