Any pics of the foot available?  I don't think my new group 41 Bosch
battery had one, however the hold down clamp was tightened in a diagonal
position so that the bulge on the lower part of the clamp pushed against
the battery holding it in place.  The screw hole was actually threaded at a
slant, forcing the screw  to hold down the clamp in such a way as to apply
pressure to the battery wall.
