Usually it is a straight forward swap. Test it over a range of conditions from cold start, hot start, highway running to make sure it all works.

Hi Guys,

I have the chance to pickup another ECU, to use as a backup. The seller claims it works BUT I want to confirm this. Can I assume that I can fairly easily swap it out in the car and confirm that it DOES work ? Is there anything I should be aware of  in doing this?
