A couple months (or low amount of miles later) after getting my '88 Westy cooling system pressure tested at one shop, the next shop found a small weep at that coolant tower. (this is part of what prompted me to rebuild most of the cooling system which included a stainless steel coolant tower. So many hoses!) At the OP: if possible, make sure shop that pressure tests and inspects the cooling system is Vanagon aware at the very least. Neil.
