I patched my expansion tank with West systems epoxy and then ordered a
replacement.  The replacement is now my backup/ spare...4yrs ago and 60k
hard driven miles...the patched tank has not hinted at leaking, though
"Epoxy won't work on that plastic" it says on the Internet...
