In the past I have seen reference to a factory recall/after delivery
install of a heat diverter/baffle for Vanagon with automatic tranny.  The
area around the shifter on mine gets hotter than hell when driving.  So How
do I check (what do I look for) to see if this kit has been installed in my
rig?
And if it has not does anyone know if they dealers can still get such kits?
