Have you tried getting a Jump from someone ~ Maybe some extra Volt&Amps will KickItLoose ~ On 29 Jul , 2015, at 10:29 PM, Jeremy Stovin jjstov@yahoo.com [wetwesties] wrote: > Well, Sheridan, WY actually. This is the same problem I had posted about previously about her just not starting and then a day later it started and acted like nothing happened. Driving today from Keystone, SD making my way home. Make a not so quick detour to Devils Tower on a hot day and notice there is the hesitation before starting. I stop, park her in the shade and have lunch. > > Well, good news, bad news, and maybe worse. When I tried after lunch, it started up ok, but the engine ran very rough for maybe 15 sec. After that, fine. Drove on for a while and stopped at a rest stop (kids and their potty breaks.) would not start after that. Feeling it was tied to heat, I let it rest 10 min, not long enough I know. Turned the key, and it started to turn, but making a godawful sound. The best comparison is if you turned the ignition after the engine is already running, but enough that I felt it under my foot. It did actually start and I went on 60 miles to the first sign of civilization. Note: the coolant temp Gauge never went too high, but the light was blinking the whole way. Stopped at a hotel, it won't start again, made that sound again but would not start. Waiting for nightfall before trying again. Tried again 4 hrs later at night, nothing. A click and faint hum, that is all. > > Any urgent suggestions?
