A question to all of you that purchased a South African-made Auxiliary Fuel Tank that Ben generously made available to the List:How many have Mounted, Plumbed and Wired your tanks?
I ran out of reasons why I couldn't install mine and so, for the past week or so, I've been crawling around under my 1990 2WD Westy, figuring out the best way to mount, plumb and wire it.
I'm very happy with the quality and the form, fit and function of the tank. It's a lot of work and I spent plenty of time thinking of the best way to integrate the new system, but I'm almost finished.I'm going to enjoy not always being "fuel critical" every time we head out into the boonies.
Anyway, I'd like to hear from anyone who's gone down this road.
