I use a very similar device called eZoom. http://www.amazon.com/Securus-EZOOM1000-Personal-Locator-Requires/dp/B0079SR568 It's a little more expensive per month ($15), but updates its location every 30 seconds. Which could be useful if trying to find a moving vehicle. Another nice feature is that the onboard battery power is rechargeable. If wired into your vehicle system, it will keep the charge topped off and is supposed to last 500 hours. It also has an "SOS" feature for emergencies. As often as I have seen vans stolen I thought it was a good time to share one of my best methods for theft recovery. Check it out here: http://texasvanagons.com/spot-trace-gps-tracker/ Thanks Abel
