This is one of those ever occurring problems and you may end up having to remove the pulley to get the pump and pipe assembly out. That hex socket head bolt should have been stainless steel or at least a hex head bolt to make this job easier. ANYWAYS, once you do get it all apart please put it back with all the best parts. We have complete Stainless Steel kits in stock and please use the correct spring clamps on that short hose. http://www.frankcondelli.com/staging1/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_93_95&product_id=376 <http://www.frankcondelli.com/staging1/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_93_95&product_id=376> and http://www.frankcondelli.com/staging1/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_93_95&product_id=373 <http://www.frankcondelli.com/staging1/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_93_95&product_id=373> AND, do not forget to check the “Related parts” on the page of these items to make sure you get all the parts you need. > On Sep 22, 2015, at 6:28 PM, Automatic digest processor <LISTSERV@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> wrote: > > Re: Coolant Drain - 2.1 L Cheers, Frank Condelli Almonte, Ontario, Canada '87 VW Westy, '00 Kawasaki 250 Sherpa, "98 Ducati 750 Monster & Lionel Trains (Collection for sale <http://frankcondelli.com/trainsal.htm>) Frank Condelli & Associates <http://www.frankcondelli.com/> - Vanagon/Vanagon Westfalia Service in the Ottawa Valley BusFusion <http://www.busfusion.com/> a VW Camper camping event, Almonte, ON, June 04 ~07, 2015
