Subject:Re: why is water squirting from city hook up

That's a bad check valve in the city water hookup box, which I assume is the original Delta Six design. Time for a replacement, and I highly recommend the Go Westy replacements: http://www.gowesty.com/ec_view_details.php?id=23580&category_id=127&category_parent_id=

It's unlikely to leak into the van, so you could just cap it off with a hose end cap if you don't use city water.

I don't think there would be much back pressure from the small pump that would force water out at the connection. It dribbles down the outside of the van but I'm worried it also may be leaking down the inside behind the kitchen. Any ideas on this?
