Westys are really set up for cooking and eating inside. ...often done in European Campgrounds perhaps. Mostly, we like to car camp. Which means stove on the picnic table, camp chairs around the fire, set up a tent for kids, extra gear, etc. Sleep in the van. that's why many people don't need or want a full westy. Weekender also has the most interior volume of any factory normal vanagon. It's handy to heat coffee water in the van of course. Don't need a whole kitchen for that tho. S. It's not a slow car, it's a fast house. > > Jack Botts > Columbia, MO > '86 Vanagon Westfalia Weekender > '14 Passat SE TDI > >> Date: Tue, 29 Sep 2015 13:16:20 -0700 >> From: vwcrewman@GMAIL.COM >> Subject: Re: camper closet removal?
