More likely the power loss reset the radio to factory defaults which may have included a separate input for ignition or accessory input. Go online and find the manual.

I replaced a blown #3 fuse for lighter, radio, inst/clock and now the radio will not turn off even when I remove the key. My toddlers have been playing in the van so they may have pushed some button combination and initiated a kill sequence...
