Jim, you have the wrong tank, I can see that in your photo. You need the other waterboxer tank (1.9) 84-85. It would work with that new lower hose you thought was wrong. That new hose was actually right and didn't need the mod you made to it. It is shaped differently and that led you to try to orient it like the old hose was instead of the new way it was intended to go, with the new style diesel tank that we call the wbx 1.9 tank. In the rest of the world that 84-85 tank was used in diesels from 83-92 and that is why the currently available lower hose is the right one after all. You just needed the right tank and the right orientation of the hose. Mark Jim Felder wrote: > The coolant is not coming in from the bottom. It is coming in from the top per several including list vendors who knew what I was doing. That's how it's done to convert over to the new style tank. Otherwise the hoses available these days don't stand a chance of fitting. I can see that that is a change that was made from before and now I'm having a problem. I don'tunderstand how it could be a problem, but it certainly is coincidental with the problem I'm having. So I'm interested in knowing more. > >> On Dec 10, 2015, at 2:02 PM, Ralph Meyermann <ralphmeyermann@GMAIL.COM> wrote: >> >> Make sure coolant is coming into the tank from the top fitting. >>> On Dec 10, 2015 2:00 PM, "Ralph Meyermann" <ralphmeyermann@gmail.com> wrote: >>> >>>
