OK folks,

Lets hear about your Christmas Vanagon, Westfalia, and camping related Christmas booty. I enjoyed hearing about them last year and even learned about a few useful items.

Here are my contributions.

A back Packers emergency trowel. This strong lightweight device include space in the handle for storage. For those of you who still have your Army trenching tool I suspect you may want to hold on to that valuable item. Still this tiny light weight device will make a nice replacement for the gardening hand spade kicking around my bus.

A tiny round device that turns out to be a retractible 21 foot clothes line. Pretty nifty little item to keep the clots line compact and untangled.

Two inflatable solar lanterns. Helpful and cheerful light under the awning for my sighted friends. Actually the guide dog appreciates a bit of light to work by as well. these are tiny when packed but make a nice bright lantern when inflated.
Two stainless Wine glasses with the removable basses stored inside the glass. compact and unbreakable. Use is self explanatory. They will be very nice suspended from my buese shelf and wine glass holder.

All this came with a nice water proof stuff sack.

Purchased as Christmas camper gifts for myself are:

Classic coleman propane camp stove. I wanted to do messier cooking outside.

And, my first harmonica, a tiny light instrument for the van. As I’m not a talented musician this may result in some dear friends considering camping at a small distance away, or I suspect it may disappear and reappear during the weekend gatherings! I still believe Marry had a little lamb is a lovely song and deserves to be played repeatedly.

so, what Vanagon and related gifts came your way?
