I am going to try to swap out by dying transaxle with an unknown one I have
in my garage. If that fails I’ll have to go the rebuild route. In any
event, it would be nice if there was a good video or write-up on the
process. Does anyone know of one?

It’s an 83.5 Westy.

Thanks,
Bryan
